Job Role:
The primary responsibility of the position is to assure that the property receives quality landscape maintenance throughout assigned properties. This is accomplished by coordinating and monitoring the performance of inhouse staff & the sub-contractors so that the agreed quality standards are obtained. Support client in any future landscaping projects and upgrades; ensure efficient and effective coordination, direct supervision of landscape works and their related services, including vendor management, services, and support, in line with management directives.

The Landscape Manager will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, emergency response plans, preventive and predictive maintenance programmes and all technical documentation.

Job Responsibility:
Tally and close all planned PPM work orders on monthly basis.
Efficiently execute corrective and reactive maintenance, achieve agreed service level agreements (SLA), KPI’s.
Handle escalations, emergencies and resolve all customer complaints, prepare technical reports.
Adherence to the set standards and provide expert advice to the team.
Calibration of all tools and tackles, safety devices
Schedule, coordinate and oversee the maintenance contracts of Sub Contractors
Conducting site inspections, conditional assessment of assets, assess HSE and operational risk and reporting.
Identify critical systems, services, assets and ensure necessary contingency plan in place to avoid down time and disruption of services.
Prepare contract specific PPM procedures, PPM schedule, and resource planning.
Prepare method statements, risk assessment, PPM Task sheet.

Contract Managment:
Responsible for monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs of the outsourced contractors and track performance levels of the contractor providing soft services against set KPIs and SLAs by routinely assessing performance

Quality Control
Report turf and tree stress to appropriate hierarchy.
Assist relevant staff in completion of required tasks
Conduct before and after inspections of site conditions of landscaping and irrigation system operations.
Identify insect and disease issues and take appropriate measures.

Employee Supervision

Oversee proper safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment usage and practices of relevant staff.
Conduct “on the job” training as needed.
Prioritize the day’s work list and assign duties to crew members.
Begin to develop working knowledge of production planning and scheduling.

Communication

Proactively address questions or issues
Review site with appropriate hierarchy
Suggest Improvements

Update Supervisor on status of site

Service Standards

Implement expected service standards to the staff and monitor them in terms of personal grooming, hygiene levels, communication skills and the service offered to guest with the objective of superior client experience and ensuring that they appropriately represent the high-level golf course standards. Arrange necessary training to maintain / improve standards

Required skills:
Basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, area, square feet.
Safety requirements
UAE driving license.
Operation Irrigation system and controls
Plant and turf identification and care, including disease and insect knowledge.
Must have competency in proper handling and knowledge of various machinery.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Landscape Architecture or equivalent
Certification in Horticulture is preferable.

Minimum Experience: 5-8 years Middle east
Minimum 3-5 years as Landscaper Manager experience in management large communties including leadership skills, is required
