- Procurement Coordination: Oversee the procurement process for IT equipment and software, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Vendor Management: Research and evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable pricing terms.
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to understand their needs and identify the most suitable solutions.
- Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory and orders to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Vendor Relations: Assist in managing vendor relationships, ensuring strong and effective partnerships.
- End-User Support: Provide guidance and support to end-users regarding IT purchases and procurement policies.
- Process Optimization: Monitor and enhance purchasing processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Budget Support: Assist in planning and forecasting budgets for IT purchases.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in IT procurement or a similar role.
- Certifications: Industry certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or
- Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM).
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the IT industry or familiarity with IT equipment and software.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Work Ethic: Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
