Job Overview
Khansaheb Group is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician in Dubai, UAE, to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across its facilities management operations. The successful candidate will help ensure HVAC equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably while maintaining comfortable indoor temperatures and good air quality.
This role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment performance monitoring, troubleshooting HVAC faults, and coordinating maintenance activities with junior technicians and other technical team members.
Candidates should have hands-on experience with HVAC systems, including FAHU, AHU, FCU, split AC, ducted split, and package units, along with relevant facilities management or maintenance experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. HVAC Maintenance and Servicing
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems and related components.
- Inspect, service, and maintain FAHU, AHU, FCU, split AC, ducted split, and package units.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify potential faults and prevent breakdowns.
- Ensure HVAC equipment operates efficiently and in accordance with maintenance procedures.
2. Troubleshooting and Repairs
- Diagnose HVAC system faults and identify the causes of equipment malfunctions.
- Carry out timely repairs to restore normal system operation.
- Inspect HVAC components and replace or repair faulty parts when required.
- Respond to maintenance requests and resolve technical issues to minimize operational disruption.
3. System Performance Monitoring
- Monitor HVAC system performance, temperature settings, and indoor air quality.
- Check equipment operating conditions and identify performance issues.
- Adjust system settings according to operational requirements and approved procedures.
- Recommend maintenance actions to improve equipment reliability and energy efficiency.
4. Team Coordination and Supervision
- Coordinate and oversee the daily maintenance activities of junior technicians when required.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely, accurately, and within scheduled timelines.
- Coordinate with the facilities management team to address HVAC maintenance requirements.
5. Preventive Maintenance Planning
- Follow established HVAC preventive maintenance schedules.
- Support the preparation and implementation of equipment operating schedules based on facility requirements.
- Maintain maintenance records and report equipment faults, repairs, and service activities.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintenance quality standards.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
- Experience with FAHU, AHU, FCU, split AC, ducted split, and package air conditioning units.
- At least 2 years of GCC experience or 5 years of experience in HVAC systems within facilities management or the maintenance sector.
- ITI certification in HVAC, refrigeration and air conditioning, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC components, system operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose technical faults and perform repairs efficiently.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with a technical maintenance team.
