Emirates Flight Catering takes part in the annual Emirates Environmental Group Can Collection Drives. We have collected over 1,600 kg of aluminium cans from the inbound waste stream, hospitality lounges and food and beverage outlets. As winners of the Company category, we were presented with a certificate and trophy at the awards ceremony held at Dubai Media City.

Job Descriptions:

This role involves providing HR Support services to the employees through employee service centre which includes management of employee concerns and complaints, inquiry management, implementation of policy and programs.

Contribute in the development and implementation of the annual HR Plan in partnership with the business and HR functions, ensuring cross collaboration and support is provided in achieving the plan. Participate and contribute to identifying and building organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.

Collaborate with business managers in providing employees with development opportunities that align with current and future business requirements. Collaborate with colleagues in HR departments to deliver tailored solutions for the customer, act as liaison between Centers of Excellence (COE) and the business and be the Primary point of contact for COEs regarding program implementation and execution.

The incumbent will play an influential role in driving integrated people solutions by acting as a key HR contact and will serve as a consultant and adviser to Management on a range of HR solutions.

Oversee the day-to-day operations by leading a team of HR Generalists to ensure process efficiency of all transactions, employee life cycle management and 24/7 employee service center.

Drive implementation and execution of core HR programs and projects for assigned business organizations. Build strong working relationships with business based on credibility, partnership and open communication.

Provide ongoing HR advisory services to management and employees across the business, explain policies, practices, and provide guidance on HR matters such as resource planning, performance & development, career development and employee retention. Provoking positive changes in the management of people and performance improvement.

Support the team with escalations related to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and HR programs, policies and guidelines.

Actively promote cultural change and support new ways of working and continuous improvement within HR to provide a high quality, professional, consistent, and

cohesive HR service. Identify opportunities to improve HR service delivery, streamline processes and train the team on HR operational processes, systems,

and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience. Implement and promote ongoing feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the Continuous

improvement of the employee experience. Work with the line to create a culture where employees are highly engaged. Develop and implement relevant people

metrics to support actions and measure effectiveness.

Job involves operation of 24/7 service center to support employees who work 24/7 in company, joint ventures, accommodation and remote locations.

Job involves reviewing and verification of end-to-end administration process of allocated HR shared services function, answering or escalating, where appropriate, any questions from the business or employee

This job holder operates within the framework of HR practices but needs to keep up to date of factors that could affect the current practices, employee retention and

policy.

Educations:

Bachelors degree in business administration or HR, CIPD

Experience:

Experience gained within a large organization and must have led a number company-wide HR initiatives, services and a team.
Minimum 5 years experience leading HR business partner strategies and managing the provision of services related to performance management, employee engagement and change management.

Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels. Clear, concise and influential written communication skills.

Remain calm and professional. It is important to not get drawn into arguments or emotional outbursts.

Be assertive and communicate clearly. The HR Specialist should be able to stand up for their own position and to explain the company’s policies and procedures in a clear and concise manner.

Be willing to compromise. The HR Specialist should be open to finding a solution that meets the needs of all stakeholders involved.

Proven ability to secure and analyze a range of quantitative and qualitative information and use this in developing strategies, plans, policies and solutions that meet individual and organizational needs.

Excellent negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills. Ability to effectively and creatively challenge people, situations and current thinking.
