Trading Enterprises is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support business leaders and provide strategic guidance across a broad range of human resources activities. The role will work closely with senior management to align people strategies with business objectives, improve organizational performance, and create a positive and inclusive workplace.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of HR operations, employee relations, organizational development, workforce planning, talent management, and HR compliance. This position also involves supporting business transformation, improving employee engagement, and ensuring HR practices remain aligned with company policies and UAE employment requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Organizational Development

  • Develop HR strategies and annual people plans in partnership with business leaders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
  • Support new employees during onboarding and help them become productive quickly.
  • Develop succession plans for critical roles and support retention of high-performing employees.
  • Identify organizational learning requirements and coordinate development initiatives.
  • Support performance management processes and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.

Talent, Learning & Development

  • Work with internal training teams to coordinate relevant learning programs.
  • Identify development needs for high-potential employees and critical talent.
  • Support talent reviews and succession planning across the business.
  • Participate in people-review meetings and help translate talent priorities into development actions.
  • Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the organization.

Employee Relations

  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters and workplace concerns.
  • Coach managers on appropriate approaches to employee issues.
  • Help maintain a workplace culture based on respect, engagement, and company values.
  • Ensure HR decisions and disciplinary processes are handled consistently and in line with applicable policies.
  • Support managers in reducing employee-related risks and maintaining compliance.

HR Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted HR advisor to senior managers and business leaders.
  • Provide coaching and practical guidance on people-related decisions.
  • Partner with management to improve employee engagement and workplace effectiveness.
  • Support organizational change and help employees and managers adapt to new ways of working.
  • Translate business priorities into practical HR initiatives and people strategies.

Workforce Planning and Optimization

  • Support workforce planning to ensure the organization has the right skills and staffing levels.
  • Provide HR input during organizational restructuring, consolidation, and business changes.
  • Monitor workforce productivity and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
  • Communicate organizational changes clearly and gather employee feedback.
  • Support localization and workforce-diversity objectives.

HR Financial Management

  • Provide management with relevant information on workforce and employee costs.
  • Support annual manpower planning and HR budgeting activities.
  • Monitor workforce-related expenditure against approved budgets.
  • Follow established financial and HR processes when managing manpower costs.
  • Present relevant HR and workforce information during management and financial discussions.

HR Policies and Compliance

  • Ensure HR activities are carried out according to company policies and internal controls.
  • Support managers and employees in understanding HR policies and procedures.
  • Identify and address policy violations appropriately.
  • Support initiatives related to Emiratization, workforce diversity, and inclusion.
  • Communicate policy updates and provide guidance to employees and managers.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates applying for the HR Business Partner (HRBP) position should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • CIPD certification is desirable.
  • At least 5 years of HR generalist experience, including experience working in an HR Business Partner capacity.
  • Experience supporting business leaders and managing employee-related matters.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development.
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
