Housekeeping Ambassador II – Job
The Housekeeping Ambassador II is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and order throughout guest rooms and hotel public areas. The role focuses on delivering a comfortable and memorable guest experience while ensuring all housekeeping services are completed efficiently and according to hotel standards.
The successful candidate will represent the hotel professionally throughout the guest journey, respond promptly to guest requests, and work closely with colleagues to maintain an attractive, clean, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily housekeeping duties in accordance with hotel service standards, operating procedures, and quality requirements.
- Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall presentation of guest rooms and assigned public areas.
- Ensure guest rooms, floors, lift landings, corridors, pantries, and other designated areas remain clean and well maintained.
- Respond to guest housekeeping requests promptly and ensure items or services are delivered accurately and on time.
- Provide courteous, professional, and personalized service to guests at all times.
- Pay close attention to guest requirements and take proactive steps to enhance their overall hotel experience.
- Identify potential guest concerns and take appropriate action to prevent complaints.
- Handle service issues professionally and support effective service recovery whenever required.
- Communicate proactively with fellow Ambassadors and other hotel departments to ensure smooth housekeeping operations.
- Maintain a professional attitude, appearance, and high level of attention to detail while performing assigned duties.
- Follow hotel health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping procedures at all times.
- Complete assigned tasks within the required timeframe while maintaining consistent quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar housekeeping or hotel operations position, preferably within a 5-star hotel.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar-level housekeeping role.
- Good command of the English language, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Minimum qualification of a high school diploma or higher secondary education.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
- Guest-focused attitude with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
