This role serves as a strategic partner to the Al-Futtaim Finance Company Leadership Team, ensuring the organisation has the right capabilities, culture, governance, and talent to scale effectively within a regulated financial services environment, while staying aligned with Group HR strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Transformation
Develop and implement the HR strategy and annual people plan in line with the company’s growth objectives. Support operating model changes, organisational design, workforce planning, and capability building. Foster a high-performance, risk-aware culture appropriate for a regulated environment.
2. Business Partnering & Leadership Advisory
Act as a trusted advisor to the HR Director, Managing Director, and senior leaders on all people-related matters. Translate business goals into actionable workforce and talent strategies. Provide coaching on leadership, performance, engagement, conduct, and succession planning.
3. Workforce Planning & Talent Strategy
Lead workforce planning across critical talent segments. Drive talent acquisition strategies focused on building strong pipelines. Develop succession plans and retention strategies for key roles.
4. Performance, Reward & Incentives
Promote a performance-driven culture through effective goal setting, KPIs, and evaluations. Oversee reward structures, incentives, and commission frameworks. Collaborate with Group Compensation & Benefits on benchmarking and remuneration governance.
5. Employee Relations, Governance & Compliance
Lead employee relations with a focus on fairness, consistency, and risk management. Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams on conduct, disciplinary matters, and people-related risks.
6. Organisational Capability & Learning
Design and deliver initiatives to build leadership, technical, and people management capabilities. Strengthen leadership pipelines through development and succession planning. Ensure effective onboarding for faster productivity in key roles.
7. Emiratisation & Diversity
Drive the Emiratisation strategy in alignment with national and Group targets. Embed diversity, inclusion, and merit-based practices across hiring, development, and reward processes.
8. HR Operations, Systems & Analytics
Ensure efficient and scalable HR operations across the employee lifecycle. Act as sponsor for HR systems (e.g., SAP/SuccessFactors), ensuring data accuracy and reporting. Provide regular human capital insights and dashboards to leadership, identifying risks and trends proactively.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven senior HR leadership experience within financial services, banking, fintech, or other regulated sectors. Strong expertise in HR business partnering, organisational design, and transformation. In-depth knowledge of UAE labour law and HR governance.
