DC Aviation Al-Futtaim is seeking an experienced Flight Engineer (ACJ) to support aircraft maintenance, defect rectification, and safe, on-time aircraft operations in Dubai.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out and supervising scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring compliance with applicable maintenance procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and certify aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved maintenance data and company procedures.
- Issue Certificates of Release to Service for completed maintenance work where authorized.
- Supervise assigned maintenance personnel and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Prioritize maintenance activities to support safe and on-time aircraft dispatch.
- Identify and report potential maintenance issues that could affect aircraft operations.
- Ensure technicians follow approved technical procedures, safety requirements, and company manuals.
- Verify that aircraft parts and components are approved, properly certified, and suitable for installation.
- Ensure removed components are correctly identified, handled, and stored.
- Monitor the quality of maintenance work and ensure appropriate tools and procedures are used.
- Prepare technical delay reports and report significant defects, incidents, and safety-related events as required.
- Coordinate with flight crews and maintenance personnel to accurately identify and document aircraft defects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Participate actively in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS).
- Perform additional maintenance-related duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Requirements
Candidates should have:
- Valid CAR 66 or EASA B1/B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance License.
- Airbus A318/A319/A320 Type Rating.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate or VIP aviation environment.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and safety requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- A methodical and detail-oriented approach to aircraft maintenance.
Preferred Experience
Additional type ratings on the following aircraft are advantageous:
- Bombardier Global Express
- Falcon 6X/7X
- Challenger 604/605/650
Previous Middle East aviation experience will be considered an advantage.
Location
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
This is a full-time contract position with permanent residency in Dubai. Candidates must already be permanent residents of Dubai or be willing to relocate.
