Job Overview

DC Aviation Al Futtaim is seeking an experienced Flight Engineer (ACJ) to join its corporate aviation team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring aircraft airworthiness, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, supervising maintenance personnel, and supporting the safe and efficient operation of VIP and corporate aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

Aircraft Maintenance & Airworthiness

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Diagnose and rectify aircraft defects to ensure aircraft safety, reliability, and operational readiness.
• Issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) following completion of maintenance work in compliance with company and aviation authority regulations.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed using current technical documentation and approved maintenance data.

Technical Supervision

• Supervise maintenance technicians and engineering staff assigned to maintenance tasks.
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely defect rectification and on-time aircraft departures.
• Monitor workmanship standards and ensure the correct use of tools, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel when required.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical reports, and aircraft documentation.
• Ensure all certification paperwork is completed accurately and within established deadlines.
• Verify that replacement parts and aircraft components are approved, properly certified, and inspected before installation.
• Ensure removed components are correctly identified, documented, and handled according to aviation standards.

Operational Support

• Coordinate with flight crews and maintenance teams to identify, record, and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and submit technical delay reports, defect reports, and maintenance-related documentation.
• Inform the Maintenance Manager of operational concerns, service disruptions, and maintenance issues that may affect flight schedules.
• Support aircraft dispatch activities to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.

Safety Management

• Follow all aviation safety regulations, company procedures, and quality standards.
• Participate actively in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS).
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all workplace safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CAR 66 Aircraft Maintenance License or EASA B1 / B1-B2 Aircraft Maintenance License.
• Airbus A318, A319, and A320 Type Rating is mandatory.
• Additional type ratings on Bombardier Global Express, Falcon 6X/7X, and Challenger 604/605/650 aircraft are highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate aviation, VIP aviation, business jet operations, or aircraft maintenance engineering.
• Previous experience in the Middle East aviation industry is an advantage.
