Job Overview

DC Aviation Al-Futtaim is seeking a qualified and experienced Flight Dispatch / Key Account Executive to join its aviation operations team in Dubai, UAE. This is an excellent opportunity for aviation professionals with experience in flight dispatch, ground operations, VIP aviation services, and key account management.

The position combines two important responsibilities: managing key customer accounts and coordinating flight dispatch operations. The successful candidate will serve as the main point of contact between customers and internal departments, ensuring smooth flight coordination, excellent customer service, and efficient aviation operations.

You will work closely with the Operations Control Centre (OCC), crew planning, maintenance, finance, and ground operations teams to coordinate aircraft movements, manage flight requests, monitor flight progress, and ensure compliance with UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Key Account Management and Customer Relations

• Act as the primary point of contact between assigned customers and relevant company departments.
• Provide professional customer service and respond promptly to customer inquiries through telephone and email.
• Manage assigned customer accounts and provide day-to-day operational support.
• Handle customer requests, resolve service-related issues, and maintain strong business relationships.
• Coordinate aircraft flight requests from aircraft owners in collaboration with the Operations Control Centre, Crew Planning, and Maintenance teams.
• Coordinate operational flight requirements for crew members, including visa arrangements and other necessary support.
• Work with aircraft owners and maintenance teams to coordinate aircraft maintenance schedules.
• Liaise with the Finance Department regarding customer invoicing and account-related matters.
• Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify potential problems and take initiative to resolve issues efficiently.
• Support charter sales inquiries and assist with flight arrangements and setup.

2. Flight Dispatch and Aviation Operations

• Manage customer flight requests during early and late shifts, including weekends.
• Coordinate aircraft handling activities and third-party ground services through the German Operations Control Centre.
• Dispatch DC Aviation Al-Futtaim managed aircraft in accordance with UAE GCAA CAR-OPS requirements, including applicable responsibilities under CAR-OPS 1.080.
• Allocate ground operations activities and coordinate operational resources through the German Operations Control Centre.
• Ensure flight dispatch activities meet company procedures, aviation regulations, and customer service standards.
• Prepare, compile, and distribute crew briefings according to the GCAA dispatch checklist.
• Prepare and distribute operational reports to relevant departments when required.
• Handle ongoing customer and operational issues to ensure smooth flight operations.
• Monitor aircraft movements and flight progress through flight-following procedures.
• Coordinate all necessary operational support for aircraft and crew members through Crew Services and the Operations Control Centre.
• Prepare flight briefing packages in advance, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company procedures.
• Communicate aircraft schedule changes to crew scheduling, license control, sales and marketing teams, and crew members.
• Review aircraft equipment limitations and apply the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) requirements when preparing flight briefing packages.
• Inform the Operations Control Centre of relevant aircraft equipment restrictions and operational requirements before departure.

3. Ground Operations and Flight Coordination

• Coordinate aircraft ground handling services and ensure all operational requirements are arranged on time.
• Work with internal departments and external service providers to support efficient aircraft operations.
• Ensure crew members receive the necessary operational information and documentation before flights.
• Monitor changing flight schedules and communicate updates to all concerned stakeholders.
• Coordinate operational resources to support aircraft readiness and on-time departures.
• Maintain accurate operational information and ensure proper communication between departments.

• Valid UAE GCAA Flight Dispatcher Licence.
• Previous VIP aviation or private jet operations experience is desirable.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Experience coordinating aircraft movements, flight schedules, ground handling, and crew operations will be beneficial.

Employment Requirements

• Full-time employment contract.
• Permanent residency in Dubai is required, or candidates must be willing to relocate to Dubai.
