A leading company in Dubai is looking for an experienced Fit-Out Project Manager to oversee firefighting and fire alarm fit-out projects from planning through final handover. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute firefighting and fire alarm fit-out projects.
- Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor daily progress.
- Lead site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and installation teams.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Review project drawings, material submittals, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Civil Defence regulations, NFPA standards, health and safety requirements, and company quality policies.
- Monitor project costs, manpower, materials, and overall project performance.
- Prepare progress reports, project updates, and commercial documentation.
- Manage variation orders, project claims, and client approvals.
- Conduct site inspections, identify project risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Support testing, commissioning, authority inspections, and final project handover.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing firefighting and fire alarm fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of fire protection systems, construction practices, and project management principles.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards, UAE Civil Defence regulations, and local construction requirements.
- Experience reviewing technical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and multiple workstreams effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using AutoCAD, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent planning, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with consultants, contractors, and government authorities in the UAE.
- Ability to deliver projects while maintaining quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
