As a Conventional Fishing Tool Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring successful operations by:
Operational Excellence:
- Running medium to high-risk applications in Wellbore Intervention, Fishing, Whipstocks, Slot Recovery, and Wellbore Cleanout.
- Executing low to medium-risk applications across other product groups, demonstrating versatility and expertise.
Technical Expertise: - Applying and expanding your knowledge to manage increasingly complex and high-risk applications in Wellbore Intervention and other product areas.
- Ensuring all supplied equipment is compatible with other job-specific tools to guarantee seamless operations.
Customer Interaction: - Providing front-line support to customers, addressing challenges, and ensuring accurate paperwork is completed before or after each job.
- Leveraging your expertise to deliver high-quality products and services, exceeding customer expectations.
Training and Development: - Conducting on-the-job training for Fishing applications as needed, sharing knowledge to enhance team performance.
Compliance and Safety: - Adhering to Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance requirements, and core values in all business activities.
- Handling special projects with a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
Role Overview:
To excel in this position, you will bring:
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience operating conventional fishing tools on workover rigs, drilling rigs, rig-assist snubbing units, and standalone snubbing units.
- Proven expertise in single/dual completion recovery, section milling, and pilot milling.
- Experience in open-hole fishing and whipstock operations.
- Proficiency in slot recovery techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and application expertise in Wellbore Intervention products within at least one product line.
- Practical experience with fishing products and services.
- Preferred Characteristics:
- Industry-specific experience and formal product line training.
- Familiarity with running motors on workover rigs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
