The Fishery Supervisor is responsible for cutting, cleaning and preparing fish products in line with the section’s operating standards and hygiene control procedures. The role holder is also responsible for weighing fish, packaging it, and putting it out for display.
Prepare and place fish cuts and products in display counter as per the defined guidelines.
Identify and segregate waste and damaged products on daily basis while maintaining a record of the waste and damaged items.
Assist in receiving the supply and perform stock counts whenever needed.
Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhering to safe work practices.
Master the different cutting methods and techniques such as fillets, steaks, open back, and skin/bone removal.
Apply fish cutting methods and techniques to prepare products as per the customers’ requests and Fishery Section’s standard operating procedures.
Clean fish as per the customers’ requests and Fishery Section’s standard operating procedures.
Wrap, weigh, label and price cuts of fish.
Educations:
Basic English language reading, writing, and interpretation skills
High school diploma or equivalent is a plus
2 – 3 years of experience in similar role
Successful completion of Master L1 Program within Fishery
