Communicate effectively with crew members and other emergency personnel at the scene of an incident.
Assist in the setup and operation of firefighting equipment, such as hoses and ladders.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance firefighting skills and knowledge.
Provide support and assistance to other emergency responders as needed.
Operate and drive the fire truck safely and efficiently to and from emergency scenes.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations while responding to calls and transporting crew members.
Maintain a clean and organized fire truck, ensuring all equipment is properly secured and ready for use.
Perform routine maintenance checks on the fire truck, including checking fluid levels and inspecting tires.
Candidate Profile:
Previous experience operating and driving emergency vehicles is highly desirable.
Knowledge of firefighting techniques and equipment is necessary.
Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with others.
High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Certification as a firefighter is preferred.
