Emirates Flight Catering takes part in the annual Emirates Environmental Group Can Collection Drives. We have collected over 1,600 kg of aluminium cans from the inbound waste stream, hospitality lounges and food and beverage outlets. As winners of the Company category, we were presented with a certificate and trophy at the awards ceremony held at Dubai Media City.
  • Job Details:
  • Interpret and provide accurate and timely management reporting for business planning and decision-making.
  • Responsible for adhering to the accounting functions in line with company policies and procedures and supervision and development of the team working in Management Accounting.
  • Lead monthly/periodical closure of books of accounts in line with monthly reporting timelines and production of monthly management reports for Finance Manager.
  • Review chart of accounts and business units on a periodical basis and suggest changes aligned to changes in business.
  • Ensure that safe working practices and procedures are implemented and adhered to in accordance with EKFC policies
  • Maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal stakeholders and relevant external entities with the highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to
  • Establish and review financial policies and management information systems
  • Participate in or facilitate business process definition and modelling and preparation of BRD document.
  • Process mapping (using MS Visio) and SOP documentation expertise required.
  • Provide solutions to address the identified gaps and improve overall process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Coordinate with IT department to im
  • plement the system to automate the business processes and to meet the analytical/reporting needs.
  • Make recommendations regarding changes to internal procedures and/or system to implement best business practices.
  • Work with the project team during and implement effective system controls to reduce the reconciliation/manual validations.
  • all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organisation are delivered in the most effective manner.
  • Identify opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures; identify resource needs; review with appropriate management staff; implement improvements.
  • Meet accounting operational standards by contributing financial information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.

Qualification:
Professional qualification i.e. ACA, ACMA, CPA etc.

  • Work Experience:
  • Minimum 6 years in the area of Finance
  • Must have Business Process Re-engineering experience.
  • Implementation of Automation / RPA techniques
  • Exposure to lean/six sigma-preferred
