Emirates Flight Catering takes part in the annual Emirates Environmental Group Can Collection Drives. We have collected over 1,600 kg of aluminium cans from the inbound waste stream, hospitality lounges and food and beverage outlets. As winners of the Company category, we were presented with a certificate and trophy at the awards ceremony held at Dubai Media City.

Job Details:

  • Manage monthly/periodical closure of books of accounts in line with monthly reporting timelines and production of monthly management reports.
  • Manage the complete end-to-end accounting functions of EKFC JVs.
  • Assist the Senior Finance manager in the Annual Budgeting process by preparing/review detailed budgets for individual Business Units, Consolidated budgets for EKFC and key analysis to support the budgets.
  • Manage chart of accounts and business units on a periodical basis and suggest changes aligned to changes in business.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures and policies for Management Reporting function to reduce manual intervention and process time and to ensure adherence to company guidelines
  • Interpret and provide accurate and timely management reporting for business planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare and Review analytical reports and benchmark KPIs which can be implemented, tracked and improved by business heads
  • Responsible for adhering to the accounting functions in line with company policies and procedures and supervision and development of the team working in Management Accounting.
  • Ensure that safe working practices and procedures are implemented and adhered to in accordance with EKFC policies
  • Maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal stakeholders and relevant external entities with the highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organisation are delivered in the most effective manner.
  • Identify opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures; identify resource needs; review with appropriate management staff; implement improvements.
  • Meet accounting operational standards by contributing financial information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
  • Prepare accounting white papers for IFRS/ISAs changes and document their impact on to the EKFC financials

Essential Requirements & Competencies:

  • Substantial experience with advance MS Office skills
  • Extensive experience in major ERP system such as SAP/Oracle/JD Edwards etc.
  • BI, Lean/Six Sigma trained would be preferred

    Must have professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA
  • Minimum 5 years* experience of management reporting function in large scale Organization
  • Proven expertise and thorough practical understanding of IFRS, Accounting principles and techniques
