Job Overview
Al-Futtaim is seeking an experienced Finance Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join its Corporate Division in Dubai, UAE. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and business partnering.
The Finance Manager will work closely with Group Finance, business divisions and other key stakeholders to provide accurate financial insights and support strategic decision-making. The position will play an important role in improving financial performance, controlling costs, optimizing profitability and enhancing reporting processes through automation and digital tools.
The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of FP&A, financial analysis, SAP, Power BI and advanced Excel, along with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly to senior business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting activities for the Corporate and GTDP functions.
- Consolidate financial information from different business divisions and review key assumptions.
- Align budgets and forecasts with overall Group financial and strategic objectives.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial plans within established Group deadlines.
- Monitor forecast performance and improve forecast accuracy through detailed financial analysis.
- Manage divisional cost allocations using approved financial allocation models.
- Review cost allocation processes and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Management Reporting and Financial Analysis
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly MIS, P&L and financial performance reports.
- Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts to identify significant variances.
- Provide clear financial commentary covering business performance, risks, cost drivers and opportunities.
- Prepare management dashboards and financial reports for senior leadership, including CFO and CTO reporting.
- Develop automated and self-service financial dashboards to improve reporting efficiency.
- Translate complex financial information into clear insights that support business decisions.
Cash Flow Forecasting
- Prepare regular cash flow forecasts and submit them within agreed reporting timelines.
- Align projected cash requirements with business plans and financial forecasts.
- Analyze differences between forecast and actual cash movements.
- Highlight cash flow risks and provide recommendations to improve financial planning.
Cost and Profitability Management
- Analyze cost drivers, profitability and financial performance across different entities and business functions.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, margin improvement and financial optimization.
- Conduct regular cost-driver and profitability analysis.
- Monitor recovery and utilization rates and recommend actions to improve financial performance.
- Partner with business teams to identify opportunities for sustainable value creation.
Finance Process Improvement and Automation
- Drive continuous improvement across financial planning, reporting and analysis processes.
- Use SAP, Power BI, advanced Excel and data platforms to improve financial reporting and analysis.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive finance processes.
- Improve reporting accuracy, efficiency and turnaround time.
- Reduce manual reporting activities and enhance the overall FP&A process.
Finance Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to business leaders and functional teams.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Conduct regular financial performance reviews with business divisions and functions.
- Work collaboratively with Group Finance and other stakeholders on financial planning initiatives.
- Communicate financial results, risks and opportunities effectively to senior management.
Required Skills and Experience

- Approximately 5–8 years of relevant experience in financial control, management accounting, FP&A or related finance functions.
- Practical experience with SAP FICO, BPC or SAC will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes.
