Responsibilities:
Evaluate architectural plans and create comprehensive quantity requirements and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for Steel Doors and Ironmongery.
Assess and forecast the cost of various materials essential for Steel Doors and Ironmongery, ensuring compliance with Fire and Building Standards.
Estimate and price steel doors according to Civil Defense Requirements, utilizing floor plans to determine optimal door locations.
Recommend appropriate Ironmongery for Steel and wooden doors based on their location within the building.
Develop Door and Ironmongery Schedules, including Masker Keying System I, derived from architectural floor plans and project specifications.
Generate precise cost estimates for fire door projects based on provided specifications and drawings.
Analyze project requirements to identify potential risks and opportunities, collaborating with engineers for accurate estimates.
Create detailed breakdowns of costs for materials, labor, and equipment to facilitate project planning.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams regarding fire door specifications and installation procedures.
Attend project meetings and liaise effectively with stakeholders to address concerns and resolve issues promptly.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to fire door installations.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team, sharing knowledge and expertise.

Candidate Requirements:
At least 3-5 years of proven expertise in estimating fire door projects.
Background in the construction sector, with a specialization in fire protection systems, is preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Outstanding communication skills and adeptness in interpersonal interactions.
Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work setting.
Meticulous attention to detail, prioritizing accuracy and excellence in work.
