Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce production costs.
- Develop production workflows, process routing, and workstation layouts for efficient operations.
- Prepare process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Support the evaluation, selection, installation, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify process bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
- Introduce process improvements that enhance product quality and operational performance.
- Monitor production metrics and recommend actions for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support new product and process implementation.
- Maintain accurate engineering records, reports, and technical documentation.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Follow company policies related to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Participate in workplace safety programs and support risk assessment activities.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with internal procedures and applicable regulations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safe working practices.
- Assist with quality audits and corrective action implementation.
- Support employee awareness of operational and safety procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
- Knowledge of process improvement and industrial engineering techniques.
- Experience with manufacturing automation and production systems is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Good organizational and project coordination skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing engineering.
- Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of process optimization, quality management, and production planning.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
