HealthHub Clinics by Al-Futtaim Health is seeking a qualified Emirati Laboratory Technologist to join its diagnostic laboratory team at Marsa Plaza, Dubai, UAE.
This opportunity is open to UAE Nationals who hold a valid DHA licence and have experience working in a clinical laboratory. The successful candidate will support healthcare professionals by performing diagnostic tests, maintaining laboratory quality standards, and ensuring accurate and timely results to support patient care.
As the laboratory operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, candidates must be willing to work rotational shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests across various laboratory disciplines.
- Ensure laboratory test results are accurate, reliable, and reported within the required timeframes.
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment according to established procedures.
- Follow Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations, laboratory protocols, and infection prevention and control guidelines.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, and other required documentation.
- Protect patient confidentiality and comply with professional ethics when handling medical information and laboratory data.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support effective clinical decision-making.
- Follow laboratory quality control procedures and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Support accreditation requirements and maintain high standards of laboratory safety and performance.
- Comply with workplace health, safety, and infection control policies.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Nationality: Must be a UAE National with a valid Family Book.
- DHA Licence: Must hold a current Dubai Health Authority licence as a Laboratory Technologist.

- Experience: Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory environment.
- Shift Availability: Must be willing to work rotational shifts in a 24/7 laboratory operation.
