As a Cabin Services Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and personalisation of selected onboard facilities, particularly the A380 First Class Shower Spa. The role focuses primarily on cabin cleanliness and facility preparation and does not replace the normal service responsibilities of Emirates Cabin Crew. The Cabin Services Assistant reports to the Purser or Senior Flight Steward when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the A380 First Class Shower Spa.
- Prepare and personalise Shower Spa facilities for First Class passengers.
- Check Shower Spa and aircraft lavatory cleanliness before passenger boarding.
- Ensure appropriate amenities and customer products are correctly positioned and available.
- Clean and sanitise the Shower Spa after every customer use according to established hygiene standards.
- Follow the Cabin Services Assistant checklist to maintain consistent cleanliness and presentation.
- Manage Shower Spa reservations and prepare facilities according to allocated passenger timings.
- Ensure customers do not enter a personalised Shower Spa before their allocated reservation.
- Inform the Purser when there are delays or issues with the Shower Spa reservation schedule.
- Maintain First, Business, and Economy Class lavatories to the required cleanliness standards.
- Regularly replenish onboard amenities and products.
- Perform inventory checks to confirm that required products are loaded in the correct quantities.
- Maintain clean, tidy, and attractive passenger cabins and social areas.
- Support the upkeep of First and Business Class lounges and other designated cabin areas.
- Report maintenance defects and other operational issues to the Purser.
- Immediately report suspicious items, unusual smells or noises, abnormal behaviour, or other safety concerns to the appropriate crew member.
- Protect company property and maintain a safe environment for passengers and colleagues.
- Follow Emirates uniform, attendance, safety, and operational requirements.
- Respect the onboard chain of command and carry out duties as directed by the Purser.
Emirates Cabin Services Assistant Requirements
