We are looking for a motivated ELV Junior Commissioning Engineer to join our engineering team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will assist in the installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across commercial and industrial projects. - Assist in the installation, programming, configuration, and commissioning of ELV systems.
- Support the implementation of CCTV, Access Control, Public Address (PA), Structured Cabling Systems (SCS), Audio Visual (AV), Lighting Control, Speed Gates, and other integrated security systems.
- Perform system testing, functional verification, and commissioning to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and system architecture before project execution.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and communication issues during installation and commissioning.
- Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and technical support teams to resolve system-related issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, including commissioning reports, test records, wiring diagrams, programming backups, and operation manuals.
- Work closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure timely project completion.
- Ensure all ELV installations comply with project requirements, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Provide technical assistance, user training, and post-installation support during project handover.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship while following company quality procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience or knowledge of ELV systems, building automation, or security systems is preferred.
- Understanding of CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Audio Visual Systems, Public Address Systems, and Lighting Control.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, IP-based systems, and system integration.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ELV system commissioning and testing procedures.
- Familiarity with IP networking, firewalls, and active network equipment.
- Experience using testing instruments and diagnostic tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
