Job Details:
Co-ordinate with all necessary departments including Commercial Operations, Local Stations, Revenue Optimization’s and Corporate Communications to implement, manage and continually improve E-Commerce distribution mechanics, ensuring these are utilized to their full potential in order to meet applicable targets set for the department. Promote direct sales strategy of Emirates in order to achieve distribution cost savings and generate incremental revenue.
Contribute towards the increased focus on direct channel revenue and the increased sales development of emirates.com in line with the overall commercial strategy.

Job Roles:
Organize the business process integration requirements of Emirates Commercial Internet Booking Engine with Skywards, to provide our customers an opportunity for a large number of value-added services,
Improve the sales features of emirates.com to attract incremental revenue and higher customer satisfaction. Track customer behavior’s to constantly improve business plans to achieve targeted online sales.
Assist in gathering information from all Commercial departments about e-commerce development needs, objectives, functions, features and input and output requirements and ensure that these are fed into the overall prioritization.
Provides analytical assistance in identifying, evaluating business opportunities and contribute to the actions derived from the commercial analytics and the behavioral data to improve the conversion of the Airline sales and its other services.

Manage management reporting on Internet sales.
Regularly research developments on competitor sites, identify valuable features and analyze new possibilities in order to enhance the booking engine to match market needs. Also carry out regular pricing comparisons between benchmarked websites and emirates web-sites in order to highlight areas where Emirates does not have competitive fares.
Maintain and support e-commerce initiatives that will drive the e-commerce plans of the airline and distribute products and services.

Qualifications:
Commercial/Sales. Research/Analysis: 5+ years
Degree or Honors (12+3 or equivalent)
Experience in online sales and distribution is essential.
Knowledge of distribution practices and regulatory environments as they pertain to the Internet is essential.
Experience in using analytical tools is highly advantageous.
