You will lead and manage the sales and marketing team. On the daily, you’ll be overseeing their sales efforts and giving them the lowdown on how to be their best selves. You will monitor sales activities/ performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan. You’ll produce monthly reports and sales forecasts.

Every day is different, but as Director of Sales and Marketing, you’ll mostly develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for the hotel, create and implement tactical plans and ensure revenue goals are achieved.

You’ll participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget, the hotel marketing plan and business plan, and financial plans which support the overall objectives of the hotel.

Your responsibilities will require direct and routine interaction with IHG’s Regional Commercial Team.

You will also analyze current/ potential market and sales trends and coordinate all activities to maintain and increase revenue and market share through creating and implementing sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, increase business volume, food and beverage and banquet sales.

The ideal candidate would come with extensive UAE experience in different sales segments with the ability to develop and execute winning commercial strategies.

Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s degree in a sales and marketing or related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the sales field.
