Job Description:
The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible to prioritize security within its DevOps culture through automation. This role requires a blend of technical and automation skills, security knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure that security tools are effectively integrated into the development workflow
Configure and manage the centralized vulnerability management platform and its integration with JIRA
Ensure all findings are registered on the vulnerability management platform and JIRA covering the lifecycle of the vulnerability
Automate related security processes to minimize manual intervention and ensure consistency
Implement and maintain security automation tools within the CI/CD pipeline
Automate security checks to ensure continuous security assessment throughout the SDLC
Manage and configure security tools such as SAST, DAST, IAST, RASP, and SCA
Job Requirements:
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages.
Experience with cloud services and infrastructure security is a plus
Relevant certifications such as CISSP,CEH, or CompTIA Security+ can be beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
3-5 years of experience with DevOps tools and methodologies.
