The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for ensuring accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and timely customs processing while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage customs clearance operations for air import and export shipments.
- Ensure accurate preparation and submission of customs documentation.
- Monitor Bill of Entry (BOE), MOFAIC, and other regulatory requirements.
- Supervise daily team activities and maintain operational efficiency.
- Resolve customs-related issues and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments for billing, cost booking, and shipment processing.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and operational trackers.
- Safeguard original documents and manage claims or refund submissions.
- Deliver excellent customer service and support business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
- 1–2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of UAE customs procedures and trade regulations.
- Experience with Dubai Trade, EDI, and CargoWise systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or training in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or trade compliance.
- Strong understanding of air freight import and export documentation.
