Job Responsibility:

Implement strategies and techniques in the commercial brief for ;
the range presentation
the commercial and visual expressions
store communication
Ensure the plans are correctly updated and prepared in accordance with the IKEA Concept and these are consistent with the latest proven solutions from Inter IKEA Systems BV.
Ensure the com-in resources are secured for the Commercial Planning and Build-up
Ensure that the members of the Store Com-in team are educated and trained regarding their tasks in the establishment project
Work in close coordination with the Sales Planning and Build-up Manager
Manage all allocated project costs to budget
Work with the stores when possible to build Com-in competence with the Country Com-in Manager
Carry out, follow-up and evaluation of the pre-project activities, project activities and the store
Support with the Regional Expansion Plans whenever necessary including Commercial planning, build up and opening phases
Support with improving current ways of working and business practices
Act as the Commercial planning and Build up Leader for the Project Team, including coordinating the planning and build-up of all store areas from start to finish
Co-ordinate the timing of the construction and fit out activities with the Project Management group before and during the commercial build-up.
Check the store equipment order and place the order with the relevant suppliers

Job Roles:
Proven experience of handling external suppliers and contractors
Ability and status to undertake regular Domestic and Foreign travel and to relocate to other projects if business needs so demand
Must have at least 5 years experience in the running of a IKEA Concept Store in the capacity of Store Com-in Manager
Project Management experience from build up of retail properties
Desirable to have detailed know how of the IKEA Concept and IKEA Communication and Interior Design standards in order to implement the IKEA Concept
Specialist knowledge Interior Design or Visual Merchandising
