Gulf Craft officially introduced “Built for Life”A leading organization in Dubai, UAE, is looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to support the planning, design, supervision, and execution of construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves coordinating with project teams, conducting site inspections, preparing technical documentation, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that construction activities meet approved engineering standards, quality requirements, safety regulations, and project schedules.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction practices, project coordination, and engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, coordinate, and oversee civil construction and infrastructure projects.
- Support the execution of projects involving roads, buildings, accommodation facilities, and other civil works.
- Conduct site assessments, surveys, inspections, and technical evaluations to determine project requirements.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, plans, and technical documents before and during project execution.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, reports, proposals, calculations, and other engineering documentation.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure work is completed according to approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project timelines, work schedules, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, clients, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines.
- Identify technical issues, construction challenges, and potential project risks and assist in developing practical solutions.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, materials, progress, and compliance with engineering requirements.
- Ensure construction activities comply with applicable UAE regulations, building requirements, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Support quality control and ensure corrective actions are implemented when construction work does not meet approved requirements.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates, reports, and technical recommendations to project management.
- Assist with project planning, resource coordination, documentation, and construction management activities.
- Review contractor submissions and coordinate technical clarifications as required.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, project documentation, measurements, progress reports, and engineering activities.

Requirements

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar engineering design software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, plans, and technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good project management, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and safety requirements is an advantage.
- Professional engineering certification or licence, where applicable, will be an advantage.
