The ideal candidate will have experience in retail, cafés, restaurants, or food and beverage (F&B) environments and enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards and operating procedures.
  • Ensure food presentation, freshness, and quality meet company expectations.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and hygienic café counters, seating areas, and food preparation stations.
  • Replenish food and beverage displays throughout the day to ensure product availability.
  • Promote menu items, seasonal offers, and complementary products to increase sales.
  • Assist customers with menu selections, product information, nutritional details, and special orders.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Monitor product freshness, expiry dates, and food temperatures to maintain food safety compliance.
  • Record stock movements, wastage, and inventory information accurately.
  • Support stock replenishment, inventory counts, and regular stock checks.
  • Follow health, safety, hygiene, and food handling regulations at all times.
  • Report equipment faults and assist in maintaining café equipment.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day café operations.
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets through excellent service and product knowledge.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree is an advantage).
  • 4–5 years of experience in cafés, restaurants, hospitality, retail, or food and beverage operations.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Food Hygiene Certification is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy retail environment.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light to moderate lifting.
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
