Role Overview:

As the Business Process Lead for SAP S/4HANA & Intelligent Data Platform (IDP), you will be integral in shaping, refining, and executing business processes within the SAP S/4HANA and IDP frameworks. You will report directly to the Program Manager for SAP S/4HANA & IDP and have a dotted line reporting relationship with the Business Process Expert in the Automotive division. This role requires a blend of leadership, business insight, and technical proficiency to drive process improvements and support the organization’s digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Analysis: Lead the evaluation of current business processes and workflows to uncover inefficiencies and areas for enhancement. Collaborate with Business Process Experts to collect requirements, set objectives, and prioritize process improvement initiatives.
  • Solution Design: Partner with technical teams, architects, and Business Process Experts to create SAP S/4HANA and IDP solutions that meet business needs and adhere to industry best practices. Ensure that solutions are scalable, sustainable, and appropriate for the organization.
  • Process Optimization: Devise and execute strategies to enhance business processes within the SAP S/4HANA and IDP systems. Focus on streamlining workflows, reducing redundancies, and automating tasks to boost efficiency, agility, and quality.
  • Change Management: Support efforts to manage change by facilitating the adoption of new processes, systems, and tools. Engage with stakeholders, provide regular project updates, and offer training and support to ensure a smooth transition and minimize resistance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to gauge the success and efficiency of business processes within SAP S/4HANA and IDP. Analyze performance data, identify trends, and pinpoint areas needing improvement.
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Promote teamwork and alignment between business units, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure business processes align with organizational goals. Organize and lead cross-functional workshops, meetings, and working groups as necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion ongoing improvement initiatives to elevate business processes and maximize the value derived from SAP S/4HANA and IDP investments. Seek out opportunities for innovation, standardization, and the adoption of best practices.
  • Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and address risks related to business process changes and system implementations. Develop contingency plans and escalate issues to senior management as needed to ensure project success.

Essential Skills for Success:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: At least 8 years of experience in business process analysis, design, and optimization, specifically within SAP S/4HANA and IDP environments.
  • SAP Certification: Certified in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation abilities.
    About the Team:
  • You will be reporting directly to the SAP Product Owner.

Qualifications for the Role:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Over 8 years of experience in analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes, with a particular focus on SAP S/4HANA and IDP implementations.
  • SAP Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules, business processes, and integration capabilities.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Organizational Fit: Ability to navigate and work effectively within a matrixed organization with dotted-line reporting relationships.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive industry processes, best practices, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
  • Certifications: Additional SAP certification(s) in relevant modules or specializations are advantageous.
