Overview of the Role

The Brand Manager is accountable for driving performance across all stores by ensuring operational excellence, brand consistency, and strategic execution. This role oversees the implementation of business plans to achieve profitability while maintaining a cohesive brand experience. Key responsibilities include team development, adherence to policies, and minimizing operational risks. The position also requires regular interaction with senior management and stakeholders, calling for strong relationship-building, communication, and diplomacy skills.

What You Will Do

Delivering Top-Line Performance & Profitability

  • Establish margin guidelines for product categories and implement processes to identify and address margin deviations.

  • Develop comprehensive short-, medium-, and long-term commercial strategies.

  • Define store layouts and product category mixes in alignment with brand standards.

  • Ensure operational excellence across visual merchandising, stock availability, customer service, and security while upholding brand integrity.

  • Train and develop team members to meet business objectives and achieve sales targets.

Financial & Business Planning

  • Develop and implement the brand’s operational strategy and strategic plans.

  • Prepare, monitor, and control store budgets and operational costs.

  • Enforce company procedures to maintain inventory accuracy, system reliability, and profit protection.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities by challenging existing processes and driving efficiency.

  • Partner with GM–HR to monitor manpower costs and maximize workforce productivity.

  • Review and update standard operating procedures as needed.

  • Support and mentor Store Managers in implementing audit recommendations.

People Management

  • Recruit high-performing sales associates to drive top-line results.

  • Partner with GM–HR to deliver employee engagement initiatives aligned with HR policies and legal requirements.

  • Coach and mentor Store Managers, ensuring effective succession planning.

  • Identify and develop high-potential talent across stores.

  • Demonstrate and promote company values and brand-aligned behaviors.

Corporate & Brand Strategy

  • Consistently reinforce brand and corporate values across all touchpoints.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements in all stores.

  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with brand partners.

  • Work closely with brand principals to resolve operational issues and prioritise commercial objectives.

Business Growth & New Market Development

  • Lead market entry strategies and manage end-to-end store opening projects.

  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and local legislation in new markets.

  • Plan and execute operational strategies to support expansion into new territories.
