The B2B Manager at ACE Hardware will be instrumental in driving the development of our Business-to-Business (B2B) initiatives. This role involves executing strategic plans to achieve business objectives within the ACE core business framework. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial acumen and will be responsible for analyzing market trends, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with both new and existing large B2B customers.

In this position, the B2B Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams, including EIT, Internal Audit, Process & Compliance, Marketing, E-commerce, and Stores, to establish and enhance the B2B function within the division. The role also emphasizes streamlining processes and leveraging technology to improve customer interactions and deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Additionally, the job holder will oversee sales budgets and be accountable for achieving both top-line and bottom-line results within the B2B Sales Vertical.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Planning & Execution of B2B Strategy
  • Strategic Development: Collaborate with organizational partners to define and prioritize strategic objectives, providing decision support through robust business forecasting, operations, and analytics.
  • Analytical Frameworks: Create sophisticated analytical models to forecast business performance and offer solutions for critical business challenges.
  • Performance Management: Establish and maintain KPIs and business dashboards to facilitate performance tracking and accountability.
  • Reporting: Deliver accurate and timely analysis of financial and operational performance to executive and senior management.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor progress against budgets, schedules, milestones, and performance targets.
  • Regional Business Planning: Develop an annual regional business plan that aligns with vertical positioning and negotiate key delivery aspects with brand stakeholders in each market.
  • B2B Setup Oversight: Oversee the strategic setup of B2B operations, including establishing channels for EIT, E-commerce, and Sales & Distribution.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive revenue from the launch phase by ensuring accurate and timely sales planning and forecasting.
  • In-Store Information Points: Develop information resources at physical locations to address B2B inquiries effectively.
    Digital Strategy
  • Digital Roadmap: Ensure the B2B vertical aligns with the Digital First initiative by implementing a comprehensive digital strategy.
  • Stock Integration: Strategize to activate stock integration projects that enhance online sales.
    Data Insights: Collaborate with the data team to gain insights into B2B platform usage and develop strategies to uncover new opportunities.
  • Business Development Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate partnerships with key businesses and influential individuals to enhance awareness and adoption of the B2B vertical within the professional community in the MENA region.
  • Sales Optimization: Plan and maximize ACE’s sales and profit contributions in the MENA market.
