Associate Manager – Trade Marketing Jobs in Dubai
A leading FMCG company in Dubai is looking for an experienced Associate Manager – Trade Marketing to support sales growth and strengthen trade marketing activities across modern trade and retail channels. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in trade marketing, category management, sales operations, and route-to-market (RTM) strategies.
The successful candidate will work closely with sales, marketing, and category teams to execute promotional campaigns, improve on-shelf availability, optimize customer coverage, and drive business performance across assigned markets.
Job Responsibilities
Trade Marketing Strategy
- Support the development and execution of trade marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Assist in implementing Route-to-Market (RTM) plans to improve market coverage and sales performance.
- Coordinate with sales and category teams to execute promotional campaigns across retail channels.
- Monitor the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and recommend improvements.
Sales Planning & Performance
- Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to track category performance.
- Monitor sales targets and provide insights to improve business results.
- Forecast sales demand and support planning activities for future business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
Customer & Market Management
- Maintain and update the customer master database with accurate information.
- Ensure all customer documentation and records are properly verified and maintained.
- Analyze customer data and market trends to identify business opportunities.
- Support retailer engagement and improve customer service standards across assigned markets.
Merchandising & Retail Execution
- Monitor product availability and ensure high on-shelf availability (OSA) across retail outlets.
- Support the design and execution of promotional displays and in-store marketing campaigns.
- Conduct regular market visits to evaluate merchandising standards and promotional effectiveness.
- Work with sales representatives to improve retail execution and field performance.
Team Coordination & Leadership
- Collaborate with sales teams to improve operational efficiency and execution quality.
- Support employee training and capability development programs.
- Provide guidance and performance feedback to team members.
- Assist management in workforce planning, performance evaluations, and employee engagement initiatives.
Reporting & Business Analysis
- Prepare business review presentations and performance reports for management.
- Track trade marketing budgets and monitor campaign effectiveness.
- Analyze sales data, forecast accuracy, and market performance to support strategic decision-making.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance trade marketing efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Marketing is preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Sales Operations, or Category Management within the FMCG industry.
- Experience working with modern trade and retail sales channels is highly desirable.
