Job Overview

A leading organization in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Associate Manager – Business Modelling to join its finance team. This role is ideal for finance professionals with expertise in financial modelling, project financing, business analysis, and strategic planning.

The successful candidate will develop financial models, support investment decisions, evaluate project performance, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate financial insights that support business growth and long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for project financing, corporate finance, and strategic business initiatives.
• Build forecasting models, financial scenarios, and investment analysis to support management decisions.
• Review financial data for accuracy, consistency, and reliability before incorporating it into business models.
• Update financial models regularly to reflect changes in project assumptions, market conditions, and business performance.
• Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, and financial evaluations for new projects and investment opportunities.
• Work closely with finance, operations, engineering, and project teams throughout the planning and execution phases.
• Support project financing activities by coordinating with internal stakeholders and external financial advisors.
• Monitor project costs and compare actual performance against approved budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Assist in lender reporting by providing financial information, covenant calculations, and supporting documentation.
• Participate in strategic planning initiatives and provide financial insights that improve business performance.
• Ensure financial models follow internal governance standards and maintain proper documentation for future reference.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting methods, and modelling efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in financial modelling, corporate finance, investment analysis, or project financing.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, forecasting, and business planning.
• Experience preparing financial models for capital projects or large-scale business initiatives.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using financial modelling tools.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
