Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Corporate Strategy
- Identify new business opportunities, acquire corporate clients, and expand market share within the UAE insurance sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate customers, business partners, and other stakeholders.
- Support senior management in developing and implementing corporate business growth strategies.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify business opportunities and support strategic planning.
Business Operations and Performance Management
- Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with company objectives.
- Establish, monitor, and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business and departmental performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, productivity, and overall business performance.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and growth opportunities.
Financial Planning and Budget Management
- Contribute to departmental budgeting, financial forecasting, and business planning activities.
- Monitor costs, profitability, and financial performance to support sustainable business growth.
- Ensure financial activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support management in evaluating business performance and making informed financial decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Risk Management
- Work closely with Underwriting, Finance, and other departments to implement corporate business initiatives.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving business processes and customer service.
- Identify potential business and operational risks and coordinate with senior management to develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards, company policies, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams, corporate clients, and external business partners.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Marketing, or a related field.
- An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
Professional Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in sales and marketing within a corporate business environment.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is required.
- Proven ability to manage teams, develop business opportunities, and achieve commercial objectives.
- Experience in corporate client relationship management, business development, and strategic planning is highly desirable.
Required Skills
