Job Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive credit assessments of Trade Finance borrowers, evaluating management, financial, industry, and business risks.
Identify credit and operational risks within trade finance documentation across various transactions, including receivables and payables financing, import/export financing, invoice discounting/factoring, commodity trade financing, inventory financing, buy-sell transactions, and risk participation (funded & unfunded).
Analyze financial statements, implement early warning systems, and oversee collections processes.
Ensure adherence to DP World’s internal policies, processes, and procedures, promoting compliance across all activities.
Proactively manage portfolio risk exposure, overseeing collections, remediation efforts, and recoveries.
Identify key risks and collaborate on risk mitigation strategies.
Liaise with external service providers such as risk consultants, recovery agents, insurance companies, and brokers.
Support relevant transactions by providing credit risk assistance and proposing innovative solutions compliant with company policies and regulatory standards.
Review term sheets and assess loan-related documentation with borrowers.
Uphold DP World’s principles, values, and culture, acting as an ambassador for the company, prioritizing safety in all activities, and adhering to DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
Fulfill any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Hold a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree from a reputable university.
Possess a minimum of 5 years of credit risk experience in financial institutions such as FinTech firms, banks, or non-banking financial companies (NBFCs).
Demonstrate expertise in trade finance credit risk management.
Have experience dealing with cross-border transactions and understanding their associated risk implications.
Capable of identifying, assessing, and mitigating credit risk effectively.
Understand the commercial interests of the company and its clients.
Exhibit strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Display keen attention to detail, adaptability, and pragmatism, with the capacity to manage a dynamic workload and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Possess self-motivation, a results-driven mindset, and a proven track record in credit and risk management.
Able to thrive under pressure, maintain a focus on achieving results, handle high work volumes, and demonstrate agility in leading credit aspects within a rapidly expanding trade finance environment.
