Alfanar Building Systems is looking for an Engineer – Architectural Design to support the development of architectural designs, technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation for building and construction projects in Saudi Arabia.
The role is suitable for fresh graduates and candidates with 0–2 years of experience in architectural engineering. Job Purpose
The Engineer – Architectural Design is responsible for creating and supporting detailed architectural designs, layouts, schematics, and technical documentation for assigned projects.
The position involves analyzing project requirements, developing architectural solutions, supporting design coordination, and ensuring that designs meet applicable building codes, quality standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design and Development
- Develop detailed architectural designs, layouts, schematics, and drawings for assigned projects.
- Analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and architectural concepts.
- Support spatial analysis, design simulations, and performance evaluations.
- Assist in developing functional, practical, and aesthetically appropriate architectural solutions.
- Ensure designs align with project objectives, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Support design optimization to improve performance, functionality, and cost efficiency.
Design Documentation and Compliance
- Prepare and maintain architectural drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documents.
- Ensure drawings and design documentation are accurate, complete, and updated.
- Review designs for compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation throughout the design and project lifecycle.
- Support quality-control procedures related to architectural design and documentation.
Collaboration and Communication
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, project teams, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in integrating architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Communicate with clients and project stakeholders to understand design requirements.
- Provide technical input and support during design discussions and project meetings.
- Present design concepts and proposed solutions when required.
Project and Design Coordination
- Review design changes and modifications to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Support the implementation of approved architectural design changes.

- Support project teams in resolving design-related matters during implementation.
Problem Solving and Innovation
