The Stock Allocation Coordinator serves as the primary liaison for suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and maintaining accurate stock levels across stores. This role entails allocating new stock to stores and ensuring prompt launch for each new season and replenishment cycle.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire product life cycle, from initial allocation to replenishment and consolidation across stores or channels.
Uphold high standards in reporting and ensure data accuracy.
Conduct regular store visits with the team to stay informed about on-ground operations.
Collaborate closely with warehouses, stores, and other Head Office departments.
Contribute to and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy.
Assist the Merchandising team in effectively managing stock availability, transfers, and allocations under the guidance of the Senior Planner.
Ensure timely allocation of products to stores to minimize potential loss of sales.
Foster strong relationships with the Planning & Merchandising team and stores to grasp merchandising strategies and business needs better.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a related degree program would be beneficial.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the retail industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
