Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Aftersales Automotive Engineer to join our Chassis Department in Dubai. This pivotal role serves as the technical authority for all chassis-related systems—suspension, steering, brakes, and wheel components—within the Aftersales division. You will support service operations, drive issue resolution, and contribute to the continuous improvement of vehicle quality and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert for chassis systems in the Aftersales function.

  • Diagnose and resolve customer-reported concerns involving suspension, braking, steering, and wheel systems.

  • Guide dealership and service centre personnel with diagnostics, repair procedures, and field fixes.

  • Collaborate with Design & Development, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to address recurring technical issues and prevent reoccurrence.

  • Analyse field performance data—warranty trends, DTCs, and failure reports—to identify root causes and systemic issues.

  • Develop and publish Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs), service manuals, and maintenance instructions.

  • Participate in cross-functional reviews, field actions (recalls, campaigns), and product improvement initiatives.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to investigate component failures and validate technical solutions.

  • Perform benchmarking and evaluate the serviceability of new or modified chassis components.

  • Prepare training content and deliver technical workshops for dealership technicians and internal stakeholders.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 3+ years of experience in chassis system engineering, preferably in an Aftersales or Product Support environment.

  • Strong technical knowledge of suspension geometry, braking systems, steering dynamics, and NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) behaviour.

  • Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools, CAN communication, and service information systems.

  • Skilled in structured root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA).

  • Effective communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite; exposure to CAD and PLM platforms (e.g., CATIA, Teamcenter) is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in OEM or Tier 1 supplier environments.

  • Practical workshop or hands-on mechanical background.

  • Knowledge of international automotive regulations and service standards.

  • Multilingual capabilities, especially in support of global service networks.
