The successful candidate will provide technical support, maintenance coordination, troubleshooting, and customer service for ambulance vehicles, medical equipment integration, and emergency response fleet systems.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in emergency vehicles, medical fleet operations, automotive engineering, or healthcare equipment support who are passionate about delivering exceptional after-sales service and ensuring fleet reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential clients, including government ambulance services, private healthcare providers, hospitals, and clinic networks, to promote maintenance and repair solutions.
  • Provide technical after-sales support for ambulance vehicles, medical fleet systems, onboard medical equipment, electrical installations, oxygen and gas systems, HVAC units, and customized vehicle interiors.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for customers during warranty, maintenance, retrofit, and service programs.
  • Diagnose technical faults and provide effective troubleshooting solutions for mechanical, electrical, and medical equipment systems.
  • Coordinate repair, maintenance, and retrofit activities with workshops, field technicians, and approved subcontractors to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Prepare technical service reports, maintenance records, handover documents, and service bulletins while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
  • Manage spare parts inventory for critical ambulance components and medical devices, including order tracking and stock monitoring.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through fault analysis, preventive maintenance planning, reliability enhancement, and root cause investigations.
  • Collaborate with commercial and project teams to support service contracts, warranty programs, technical proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Maintain accurate service records using CRM, ERP, and service management systems while generating performance reports and service metrics.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3–7 years of experience in after-sales engineering, field service engineering, technical support, or maintenance management.
  • Experience working with ambulance fleets, emergency vehicles, automotive systems, medical equipment, or healthcare fleet solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, ambulance conversions, medical device integration, and emergency vehicle technologies.
  • Proven ability to diagnose technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Understanding of ambulance oxygen systems, gas delivery systems, HVAC equipment, battery management, and auxiliary power systems is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, ERP platforms, Microsoft Excel, Word, and technical reporting tools.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Equivalent technical qualifications and relevant industry experience will also be considered.
  • Manufacturer certifications, technical training, or trade certifications related to vehicle systems and medical equipment are advantageous.
