Position Description:
We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Tax and Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various financial tasks, including tax preparation, financial statement analysis, budgeting, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate tax regulations and financial reporting standards and excellent analytical skills to provide valuable insights to management.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and file corporate tax returns monthly, ensuring timely submission to relevant stakeholders.
Oversee month-end closing procedures, including the preparation of adjusting journal entries, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and determination of accruals.
Generate financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and present financial reports to corporate headquarters.
Conduct in-depth financial and non-financial data analysis to uncover insights that support strategic decision-making.
Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, reviewing budget submissions and consolidating budget packs to ensure accuracy and reasonableness.
Monitor and evaluate capital expenditure (Capex) spending against budgeted amounts, providing regular updates on Capex progress.
Process payments to suppliers and contractors and review supplier aging reports to manage outstanding balances effectively.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
Record advanced customer booking fees and ensure proper accounting treatment and collection procedures.
Coordinate with Business Units within DP World to facilitate timely reconciling and invoicing of intercompany transactions.
Prepare and review periodic VAT returns, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining proper documentation.
Undertake special projects and initiatives as needed to support the smooth operation of the business.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Proven experience in corporate tax preparation, financial reporting, and analysis.
Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and corporate tax regulations.
Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field.
Possesses professional accounting qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent.
Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance roles.
Thorough understanding and expertise in UAE Corporate Tax and UAE VAT laws and regulations.
Proficient knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, demonstrating the ability to manipulate data effectively and present findings.
Vital planning and organizational skills with the capability to prioritize tasks and manage projects to meet deadlines.
Experience with Oracle software is advantageous.
Possession of a valid UAE driving license.
