We are looking for a skilled Lift Technician to handle the installation, electrical and mechanical work, testing, troubleshooting, adjustment, and commissioning of elevators and related equipment. The technician will work on-site to ensure lift systems are installed correctly, operate safely, and meet required technical and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installation work for elevators, including templates, fixing brackets, guide rails, rail alignment, door entrances, cabins, ropes, and machine-room equipment.
• Carry out electrical installation and related work, including wiring, shaft and car door adjustments, load testing, and installation of shaft accessories.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in elevator systems and implement suitable corrective solutions.
• Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and use technical knowledge to identify faults and malfunctioning components.
• Diagnose issues involving elevator brakes, motors, switches, signals, control systems, and other electrical or mechanical components.
• Use appropriate testing and measuring equipment, including ammeters, voltmeters, and elevator diagnostic tools, to identify technical problems.
• Perform measurements, electrical checks, and functional tests during installation and troubleshooting activities.
• Carry out final elevator adjustments to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
• Participate in testing and commissioning activities and ensure equipment meets required operating standards.
• Prepare elevator systems and work areas for final inspection and customer handover.
• Support site preparation and ensure all installation activities are completed according to project requirements.
• Use tools, machinery, testing instruments, and equipment safely and correctly while performing assigned duties.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and technical instructions during installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other technical teams to complete elevator installation and commissioning work efficiently.
• Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach while working at project sites.

Requirements

• Higher Secondary education from an accredited institution.
• Diploma or technical/vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Elevators and Escalators, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical or elevator technician work.
• Practical knowledge of elevator mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with electrical testing instruments and elevator diagnostic equipment.
• Previous experience in elevator testing and commissioning is preferred.
• Proactive, technically capable, and result-oriented approach.
• Intermediate-level English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively at project sites and follow safety procedures.
