Apparel Group is seeking a Sales Associate – UAE National to support its retail operations in Dubai. The role is focused on delivering excellent customer service, supporting store sales, maintaining merchandise standards, and creating a positive shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Welcome customers and understand their requirements to recommend suitable products.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service throughout the shopping experience.
- Assist customers with product selection and provide accurate product information.
- Convert potential customers into buyers through effective communication and selling techniques.
- Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage customer retention and repeat purchases.
- Follow the GUEST selling approach: Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, and Thank.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant brands, products, promotions, and collections to support suggestive selling.
- Contribute to achieving individual and store sales objectives.
Grooming, Product Knowledge & Professional Conduct
- Maintain a professional, presentable, and well-groomed appearance at all times.
- Keep product knowledge up to date and communicate product features and benefits effectively.
- Follow established customer service and brand standards.
- Handle merchandise carefully and follow procedures to minimize stock loss.
- Remain flexible to work extended hours during sale periods and peak business seasons.
Merchandising & Stock Management
- Ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and according to approved store layout standards.
- Follow visual merchandising (VM) guidelines and stock presentation requirements.
- Keep the sales floor and product displays organized and customer-ready.
- Record inventory movement and maintain accurate inward and outward stock information.
- Support stock replenishment and ensure products are available for customers.
POS & Cash Handling
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) and billing counter efficiently and accurately.
- Count and reconcile cash in the till at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Process customer payments through approved methods, including cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debit options.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change accurately according to company procedures.
- Maintain accuracy and professionalism when handling customer transactions.
Store Operations & Loss Prevention
- Support store maintenance and daily operational activities as assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
- Maintain awareness of store security and follow loss prevention procedures.
- Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and loss prevention policies.
- Report any security, stock, or operational concerns through the appropriate channels.
- Maintain confidentiality of sales figures and other sensitive business information.
- Be flexible to work different shifts, overtime, and extended hours according to business requirements.
