An opportunity is available in Dubai, UAE for an experienced TIG/ARC Welder – Roof Sheet to support aluminum roofing and cladding works within the construction department.

The position requires practical TIG and ARC welding experience, attention to finishing quality, and the ability to work safely in outdoor construction environments and at heights.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out TIG welding on aluminum roof sheets, gutters, flashings, trims, and other roofing accessories.
- Perform ARC welding on GI and other metal components when required.
- Work with thin aluminum sheets ranging from 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm in thickness.
- Prepare surfaces and joints before welding to achieve clean and durable results.
- Inspect completed welds and identify defects that may affect strength, finishing, or water resistance.
- Repair damaged or incomplete welded joints and help ensure roofing connections remain leak-free.
- Safely operate TIG and ARC welding machines, grinders, and other fabrication equipment.
- Assist installation teams with roofing, cladding, and related fabrication activities.
- Follow instructions and coordinate with supervisors to complete assigned work according to project requirements.
- Maintain tools and welding equipment in safe working condition.
- Follow site safety procedures and use the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work safely at heights using appropriate fall-protection systems, scaffolding, or manlifts.
- Maintain good workmanship while working in outdoor construction conditions.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Candidates with previous experience in aluminum roofing, cladding, waterproofing, fabrication, or finishing work are preferred. Practical knowledge of TIG and ARC welding techniques is important for this position.
A TIG/ARC welding certification would be an advantage. Candidates who have experience working with manlifts, scaffolding, and other access equipment may also be preferred.
