Key Responsibilities
Production Equipment Operations
- Supervise the operation and monitoring of production machinery and equipment.
- Ensure machines are correctly configured and prepared for scheduled production activities.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential operational issues.
- Coordinate machinery setup and calibration to support efficient production runs.
- Ensure production activities are completed according to operational requirements.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Oversee the identification and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related problems.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams when machinery breakdowns occur.
- Help minimize equipment downtime and production interruptions.
- Monitor recurring equipment issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Ensure maintenance-related activities are completed safely and within required timelines.
Production Process Improvement
- Monitor production processes to ensure they meet quality, safety, and efficiency requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve machine performance and reduce material or production waste.
- Review operational information and production data to identify areas requiring improvement.
- Coordinate corrective actions when equipment or process performance falls below expected standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production area.
Team Leadership and People Management
- Lead, train, and guide production employees to achieve operational targets.
- Assign responsibilities according to employee skills, workload, and production requirements.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching where required.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and professional behavior.
- Ensure work is distributed fairly across the team.
- Support employee development and help build a productive and motivated workforce.
Operational Delivery
- Execute planned production activities according to approved schedules and operational targets.
- Make effective use of manpower, equipment, materials, and other resources.

- Coordinate with relevant departments to maintain smooth production flow.
Problem Solving
- Identify operational problems and take appropriate corrective action.

- Escalate complex technical or operational problems to the appropriate management or specialist teams.
- Support root-cause analysis and preventive measures to reduce recurring problems.
Quality Management
- Ensure production activities comply with established quality requirements.
- Monitor processes to maintain consistent product and operational standards.
- Support the implementation of effective quality-control procedures.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Ensure production teams follow approved specifications and operating procedures.
Process Improvement
- Follow established production systems, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Support automation and technology initiatives where they can improve productivity and reliability.
- Encourage continuous improvement across production activities.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure production activities comply with workplace safety requirements.
- Follow applicable environmental, quality, and operational procedures.
- Promote safe working practices among production employees.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are operated according to approved safety instructions.
- Report unsafe conditions and take appropriate action to prevent workplace incidents.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related technical discipline.
Experience Required
- 6–10 years of relevant industrial or production experience.
- Previous experience supervising production teams is preferred.
- Practical experience with production machinery, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance coordination will be advantageous.
