The role will focus on building and deploying predictive models, applying Generative AI (GenAI) and MLOps practices, and using data-driven insights to improve business performance, profitability, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Learning & Demand Forecasting

• Design, develop, and deploy demand forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Apply models such as ARIMA, XGBoost, and LSTM to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Use Generative AI to simulate demand scenarios and enhance predictive model performance.
• Evaluate and continuously improve forecasting models using appropriate performance metrics.

Pricing & Customer Analytics

• Develop dynamic pricing models based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and market data.
• Analyze customer behavior using clustering and other machine learning techniques.
• Develop customer lifetime value (CLV) models to support customer analytics and personalized pricing strategies.
• Generate data-driven insights to support business and commercial decisions.

MLOps & Model Deployment

• Apply MLOps practices across the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Implement version control, automated testing, deployment pipelines, and model monitoring.
• Monitor model performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Support the scaling of data science solutions across different business environments.

Cloud & Technology

• Deploy and scale forecasting and pricing models using Microsoft Azure.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based model monitoring tools.
• Use modern data platforms and technologies to build reliable and scalable machine learning solutions.
• Ensure deployed models maintain strong performance and operational reliability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, product, sales, and other business teams.
• Translate business requirements into effective data science solutions.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure data science initiatives remain aligned with business objectives.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of machine learning model development and optimization.
• Strong expertise in demand forecasting and predictive analytics.
• Experience applying Generative AI to data science and forecasting use cases.
• Strong understanding of MLOps and machine learning deployment practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Data Science.
• At least 5+ years of experience in demand forecasting, pricing optimization, and customer analytics.
• Hands-on experience with ARIMA, XGBoost, LSTM, and Operations Research (OR) models.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Databricks and cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.
• Experience with machine learning deployment, monitoring, and scalable cloud solutions.
