Key Responsibilities
HSE Compliance & Risk Management
- Conduct detailed HSE risk assessments and identify potential workplace hazards.
- Recommend corrective and preventive measures to reduce safety risks.
- Verify compliance with company policies, applicable regulations, and international HSE standards.
- Review protection and prevention systems to ensure effective safety controls.
Safety & Operational Support
- Integrate HSE requirements into engineering and operational activities.
- Review technical documents and designs for safety and environmental considerations.
- Monitor workplace conditions and identify areas requiring improvement.
Training & Safety Awareness
- Prepare HSE awareness materials and support safety training programs.
- Provide guidance to employees and contractors on workplace safety requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture across operational activities.
Emergency Preparedness
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Support evacuation planning and emergency response procedures.
- Participate in emergency drills, exercises, and preparedness activities.
Inspections, Audits & Reporting
- Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and safety checks.
- Document safety observations, hazards, and compliance findings.
- Prepare HSE reports and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitor the implementation of safety improvements.
Incident Investigation & Documentation
- Maintain HSE records, incident logs, and related documentation.
- Support root-cause analysis following workplace incidents.
- Develop recommendations to prevent recurrence of safety incidents.
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor HSE performance and analyze incident trends.
- Research industry best practices and recommend improvements to existing procedures.
- Support the continuous development of HSE systems and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering or a relevant field.
- 4–6 years of relevant HSE experience.
- Knowledge of safety compliance, risk assessment, and workplace safety practices.
- Experience conducting safety inspections and audits.
- Strong reporting, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, contractors, and operational teams.
