Key Responsibilities
Perform routine vehicle maintenance, mechanical overhauls, and general repair work.
Utilize specialized computerized diagnostic tools and Special Service Tools (SST) to inspect engines, transmissions, brake systems, suspension, A/C systems, and electrical/hybrid components.
Follow standard “Fix It Right” procedures to prevent repeat repairs and ensure high service quality.
Assist Technical Advisors in documenting and drafting Repair Support Requests and Branch Field Technical Reports for distributor escalation.
Maintain accurate service records and technical transcriptions within digital job card systems.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Diagnostic/Repair Technician, preferably with a major automotive dealership or service center.
Technical Skills: Proven ability to handle engine diagnostics, mechanical unit repairs, A/C part replacements, and hybrid vehicle systems.
Education: Technical Diploma, ITI (Industrial Training Institute / NCVT Certificate), ITC, or an equivalent vocational mechanical qualification.
Languages: Good conversational and written English communication skills.
Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is advantageous.
Work Environment & Reporting
Reports to: Workshop Manager
Team Collaboration: Daily coordination with Service Advisors, Job Controllers, Workshop Foremen, and fellow technical specialists in a fast-paced workshop environment.
