Overview
Alfanar Electric is hiring a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to manage facility operations and industrial equipment at its Industrial Complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for maximizing plant uptime, performing preventive maintenance, conducting root cause failure analyses, and optimizing utility systems across major manufacturing divisions.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Breakdown Resolution: Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; minimize operational downtime through rapid breakdown response and OEM coordination.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Design and execute scheduled inspection routines, condition-monitoring protocols, and recurring failure mitigation plans.
Systems & Equipment Handling: Oversee maintenance for rotating equipment, pumps, industrial gearboxes, bearings, valves, conveyors, and utility distribution networks.
Spare Parts Management: Identify critical spare part requirements, evaluate technical specifications, and liaise with suppliers for cost-effective procurement.
HSE & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance operations strictly comply with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, industrial safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Continuous Improvement: Lead root cause analysis (RCA) of recurring mechanical failures to enhance equipment reliability and support automation initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience: 6–10 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or large-scale facility environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, rotating machinery diagnostics, preventive maintenance software, and LOTO procedures.
Competencies: Strong problem-solving abilities, vendor coordination skills, and a commitment to operational safety and quality standards.
