The successful candidate will work closely with Aftersales, Parts, Technical, Finance and OEM teams to ensure warranty claims are handled efficiently and within required timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily warranty operations according to BYD and company policies.
• Process and submit warranty claims accurately and within required deadlines.
• Review claims to help improve acceptance rates and reduce rejected claims.
• Provide operational support and guidance to warranty staff and Service Advisors.
• Monitor warranty KPIs and identify opportunities to improve processes and performance.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly warranty reports.
• Support warranty audits and ensure compliance with OEM and internal standards.
• Reconcile warranty accounts, credit notes and payments according to financial procedures.
• Coordinate with Aftersales, Parts, Technical, Finance and OEM teams to resolve warranty issues.
• Provide on-the-job training and support to warranty team members.
• Assist OEM representatives during warranty visits and maintain professional manufacturer relationships.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of automotive warranty processes and OEM requirements.
• Experience handling warranty claims, submissions, reconciliations and audits.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to coach and support colleagues and team members.

Education and Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within an automotive distributor environment.
• At least 3 years of experience working as a Warranty Administrator.
• Hands-on knowledge of automotive warranty procedures and OEM claim systems.
• Experience with OEM DMS and warranty platforms.
• SAP IS-Auto and/or SAP S/4HANA experience is mandatory.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• High standards of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
